Biography
Patrick Bianco's career began immediately after graduating in law from the University of Fribourg in 1995. Following his path to the legal profession, he completed the necessary practice at the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Canton of Ticino and the Marzorini & Canevascini law firm in Muralto. 1998 marked a turning point when he obtained his licence as a lawyer, followed by a fruitful period until 2003 at the same law firm.
2003 - 2015: Appointed enforcement and bankruptcy officer for the Locarno and Vallemaggia districts.
2015: Appointed bankruptcy officer for the Canton of Ticino.
2018: Establishment of Biancolegal SA, Ascona, specialising in enforcement and bankruptcy law, company law and contract law.
January 1, 2024: Start of business at btc.legal sa, as co-founder together with friends and colleagues Dr. Mattia Tonella and Dr. Davide Cerutti.

Biography
Dr. Mattia Tonella began his career in law by graduating from the University of Basel in 1999. He subsequently practised for the bar exam at the law firm Böckli Bodmer & Partner, the law firm Delbrück Schürmann Delvoigt and the Basel Criminal Court. His commitment and dedication led him to obtain his licence as a lawyer in Basel-Stadt in 2001, followed by a PhD in 2002 at the University of Basel, with a thesis focusing on national and Anglo-Saxon civil procedure law.
2002 - 2010: Professional experience in Zurich, initially as a lawyer at Wenger & Vieli until 2006, and then as legal counsel at UBS Investment Bank.
2010 - 2023: active with Molo Avvocati, first as associate and then as a partner from 2015, working from 2018 in the Lugano office.
2019: Achievement of the title of SBA Inheritance Law Specialist at the University of Zurich, one of the first two in Ticino to achieve this goal.
January 1, 2024: Start of business at btc.legal, as co-founder together with friends and colleagues Patrick Bianco and Dr. Davide Cerutti.

Biography
Davide Cerutti's academic training began with a law degree from the University of Lausanne in 2002, where he subsequently held the position of assistant in Roman law and debt enforcement and bankruptcy. In 2008, he obtained his PhD with a thesis in the field of contract law, with a focus on Roman law, history and philosophy of law, a thesis that earned him the prestigious Prix de Faculté.
After returning to Ticino, he embarked on a legal career as Judicial clerk at the Bellinzona District Court and completed his practice for the bar exam at the Mattei law firm in Bellinzona. Before starting his career as a lawyer in 2013, Davide acted as extraordinary judge at the First Civil Chamber of the Court of Appeal in Lugano in 2011 and 2012.
2013 - 2018: Legal activity at Molo Avvocati.
2019 - 2023: Counsel at Walder Wyss SA, working in the Lugano and Lausanne offices.
January 1, 2024: Start of business at btc.legal, as co-founder together with friends and colleagues Patrick Bianco and Dr. Mattia Tonella.

Biography
After obtaining her law degree from the University of Fribourg in 2002, Lucia Regazzoni Tonella completed her bar exam practice in Zurich at the law firm Wenger & Vieli (then Wenger Vieli Belser), obtaining her licence as a lawyer in Zurich in 2005. From August to December 2006, she worked as a trainee in the legal department of the Headquarters of Synthes Inc. (now DePuy Synthes) in West Chester, USA after which she returned to Zurich and worked as a lawyer, first at the law firms Staiger Schwald & Partner and Schindler Keller Girguis (now Keller Rechtsanwälte). Thereafter, from 2010 until 2015, she worked as a legal counsel at UBS AG, Lugano. From September 2015 and until the end of 2023, she worked as a lawyer at Molo Avvocati, since 2018 in Lugano. From January 1, 2024, Regazzoni Tonella works for btc.legal.

Clarissa David graduated in law at the University of Lucerne in 2019, with a specific profile in competition law. From March 1, 2018, she became a research assistant at the Law Institute of the University of Southern Switzerland and has been working on a PhD on the social sustainability of public procurement procedures at the University of Fribourg since 2019. From March 2019 to June 2022, she practised law at Molo Avvocati. In 2022, she obtained her licence as a lawyer in Ticino and, in 2023, she worked as a lawyer at Molo Avvocati in Lugano. Since January 1, 2024, Clarissa David works for btc.legal.

Milo Bernasconi completed his academic studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Fribourg (Master of Law). From 2019 to 2020, he completed his legal practice at Studio Bolla Bonzanigo & Associati, later Studio legale Collegal. In 2021, he obtained his licence as a lawyer in Ticino. From the same year, and until the end of 2023, he worked as a lawyer at Molo Avvocati in Lugano. Since January 1, 2024, Bernasconi works for btc.legal.

Carlotta Battaglioni completed her academic studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Fribourg (Master of Law). From 2018, she completed her legal practice at the District Court in Lugano and then at the Justice Department in Bellinzona. From 2019, she worked as a legal trainee at the law firm Respini Jelmini Beretta Piccoli, now TEAM LEGAL SA. In 2020, she obtained her licence as a lawyer in Ticino. From 2020, she worked as a lawyer at TEAM LEGAL SA. From 2022 to the end of 2023, she worked as a lawyer at Molo Avvocati in Lugano. Since January 1, 2024, Carlotta Battaglioni works for btc.legal.

Biography
Tecla Zucca graduated in law at the University of Zurich in 2023 (Master of Law). After graduation, she worked one year as legal trainee in the law firm Lenz & Staehelin in Zurich. Tecla Zucca joined the team of btc.legal on 1. April 2024 and will continue her legal traineeship in preparation of the bar exam.
